Membership
Membership entitles you to the following benefits:
- A valid reason for the grant/renewal of a shotgun certificate.
- Identity cards (with photo) and car stickers supplied/replaced each year.
- Area Field Lists together with all relevant information and instructions.
- Shooting as often as you wish until the end of harvest, after which we operate by call-out only for our farmers until the issue of the next field lists when we know what and where they are planting. Some of our retired members are out shooting two or three times a week, all year!
- Keep or sell all you shoot.
- Loyalty rewards.
- Our own pigeon shooting equipment supplied to you at trade prices, plus discounts from certain gun and shooting supply retailers.
- Access to ALL our areas (subject to availability) in: Durham, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
Membership is open to UK Shotgun Certificate Holders (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult member). All applicants must have Third Party & Public Liability Insurance (membership of any of the well known Shooting Sports organisations). We recommend membership of BASC - The British Association for Shooting and Conservation as they do a lot to support our sport in addition to providing insurance.
Field experience is useful but help is offered and tuition sessions can be arranged for the experienced shot who is new to pigeon shooting.
